About

I am a Slovak-born professional visual artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. My artistic practice encompasses large-scale, site-specific installations with a dark, tactile aesthetic, often constructed from unconventional and recycled materials. I work in intersection between three dimensional forms, sound, light and spatial interventions, where the works emerge in dialogue with the context and hidden structures of a site and our perception of it.

I am interested in the urban landscape as a living organism in constant transformation, with particular fascination with underground and protective-like spaces. In my work, I explore the intricate relationship between the human body and space—how architecture, environment, and history inscribe themselves into the body and shape its movements and perceptions. I strive to open a dialogue on what it means to exist in spaces that are both protective and oppressive, simultaneously serving as sanctuaries and constraints. Through a perspective influenced by feminist theory and experimental practice, I seek to understand how freedom, limitation, and belonging materialize in our spatial experiences.

My installations appear as bodily formations in a state of change—fragmented, expanding, sometimes on the verge of dissolution. They embody a suspended movement, a fleeting yet embodied flow where time seems to fold rather than progress. In this in-between space, the boundaries between past, present, and future dissolve. Through the interplay of material, form, and light, my goal is to create a threshold between reality and fiction, where there is neither a beginning nor an end—only this fragile but extremely harmonious space, and us.
