‘Cabinet of Ambiguity’ was a site-specific installation as a part of the ‘HEMMA’ collective exhibition at Detroit Stockholm gallery on view during April 2023.

Material: wooden slats, metal, monotype in semi-transparent mirror film

Cabinet of Ambiguity is a site-specific installation which explores a notion of the unseen through amalgam of structures and visualised memories. One part to encounter is a wooden construction resembling a barrier, it’s dynamically positioned in the moment of destruction and it’s unclear if it’s there to shield or rather reveal. The second part consists of semi- transparent mirror film carrying distorted compositions of diverse personal working environments. Through diversity of form, medium and content, a moment of transition arises, a fluctuation between hidden and obvious, past and future, creation and destruction.
